Loddon Valley Link

Simon

Welcome to the Feb edition of The Link.

Hopefully you are all getting over Christmas and New Year and sticking to those resolutions. Mine was to get a bit fitter. Over the last month I have been on a couple of lovely walks in the area. We had Stratfield Turgis on boxing day and Sherfield on new years day. Both lovely opportunities to see the beautiful countryside surrounding us. If you get chance I can recommend joining the friendly people on the walks in the future. Stratfield Turgis have been busy and produced a mapboard, which is featured on the cover, to help residents and visitors see their surroundings in a new light. The board itself is due for installation next month on the recreation ground and we will include more details in the Link then. Residents reviewed the original artwork at the annual village social in the Jekyll and Hyde on the 23rd January. See www.stratfieldturgis.org.uk. It is Jubilee year and all the local villages have events planned. Sherfield is on p22, a combined Stratfield Turgis and Hartley Wespall below and Stratfield Saye on p22 too.

So how does it work. You shop directly with the retailer as you would normally, but if you sign up to www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/loddonvalleylink for free and use the links on the easyfundraising site to take you to the retailer, then a percentage of whatever you spend comes directly to us at no extra cost to yourself.

We have just started but we have raised over £30 with easyfundraising so far. We need your help to keep donations coming in.
